Front/Sub Channels
Taper: Jon Ice
Source: AKG ck62 (omni's) > Active Cables > JK LABS DVC >
Apogee Minime (line in) > M1 @ 48k
Location: Sec. 14, Row B, Seats 3,4 (mics approximately 3' from stack)
Conversion: M1 > Digital Coax > Audiowerk2 Resampled in Samplitude 6.0.
CDWav to track. MKW Audio Compression Tool to shn.

Rear Channels
Tapers: Henry Hart & Bob Haag
Source: km184 > SD mp2 > DA-P1
Location: Near the soundboard, close to center - mics pointed backward
at about a 20 degree spread
Conversion: DAT > .flac > .wav

Mix/Encoding
The .wav files were appended and synced in Cool Edit Pro v2.0 and
Adobe Audition v2.0, tracked with CD Wave and encoded with
Surcode DVD DTS v1.0.23. All files were left as .wav files due
to the fact that encoding them to .flac only made them 10%
smaller.

Notes:
These rear channels were made by pointing the two Neumann mics stright
back to the lawn from the center of the pavillion. The effect is that
of being right in the middle of the venue hearing the crowd around you,
like you were there all over again.

Thanks so much to Jon Ice for his tape of this show, it sounds awesome.
Thanks to Bob Haag for the stand to run the rear channels and for the
seat buddy. This was a fun night with good friends and a great setlist.
This took hours to sync the sources and encode the .wav files. I hope
you all enjoy this!

Thanks to Eric Wallace for some last minute use of his DTS home stereo.
I don't have a DTS decoding receiver and he doesn't have rear speakers
or a sub woofer. We met here on dreamingtree.org and shared our stuff
tonight here in JAX at his condo to make this happen.
