CLEARER THAN CIRCULATING COPIES
BUT WITH MORE HISS. THIS COULD
JUST BE A RESULT OF SOME EQUALIZING
BUT NO WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE

i was told that my copy was superior to those that circulate. interestingly, this is noted by most as a sb but to me it's an aud recording. it's not great but comparing to the best known version, it is clearer but also has more hiss which could be from some eq. no clue on the lineage but i've had this on reel for a very long time and if it wasn't for a request i probably would never have done anything with it. another interesting thing is that my copy, as noted in some places on older versions, has an extra track that has an intro by bill graham which almost certainly places that song only at fillmore west probably right around the same time. this track is all that seems to circulate from that source so i've included it here. if anyone knows anything for sure about this, i'd be curious to know.
enjoy,
dave
