After picking up this seed, and looking up the SHNID, the note about the tracking pattern being similar comes from the fact that many of the songs start in the last 1-2 seconds of the previous track.

Any ideas on the true source info on this one?

Are there better seeds out there in anyone's opinion?

This is one of the shows released by the band as an "official SBD" in the 92-93 era (see also 3/22/93, 8/20/93, 12/30/93 for more examples). The lineage for all of these is SBD > DAT > Cass > DAT > Phish Net Tree (i.e. maybe more DAT gens?). I haven't heard this source, but I'd be surprised if this is not the lineage.

jb is exactly correct. Although in some cases the mentioned recordings were leaks instead of sanctioned "unofficial band releases." This one, 2/20, appeared very soon after the show itself. I received a DAT copy on 3/17/93 - I won't get into the specifics of it. jb's listed lineage is correct: DATSBDM > Cass > DAT. I would suggest that if Mark Beswick has any question whatsoever as to the source, then this seed might not be the SBD, because one would know immediately that it's a board. Of course, you never know with these things.
