I don't think MMW would appreciate SBD copies of this show floating around. Last I knew, MMW hasn't allowed board access in the last 6+ years.
Same goes for 8-22-98, but that's a whole nother story.

d1t01 is actually an introduction track, and all songs get moved down 1 spot (d1t01 is actually d1t02, d1t02 is actually d1t03, etc).

Agreed. There are actually 7 tracks on d1 (just to be absolutely clear about it.)

I think these SBD SHNS somehow are TAO. Everytime I try and listen to or burn them it burns with a moment of silence between every track. It has a CD>SHN in the transfer, so if the disc was TAO wouldn't the SHN be TAO? Can it be fixed?

You're right, Mike, there is a small gap between each track. The original CD was probably TAO (or intentionally mastered with a second's silence between each track). The only way to fix this is to open each .wav file in an editor and snip out the last bit of each track where the silence is. Perhaps someone will do this an re-seed the show?

BTW, I haven't heard this but from other Japanese live recordings I know that the audiences there are so quiet it can make tapes sound like SBDs. Given what Pete says about their not handing out patches, any thoughts from listeners about it being really SBD vs. perhaps mistaken impression?

This is definitely a SBD. There's a panning effect to Billy's drums that you can't catch on an AUD recording.

Thanks for the analysis! BTW there's a brand new submission of 2/16/01 SBD info as well.

It has got to be a board. It just sounds really really good. even if the audience was quiet it would take the best rig and the perfect room to make me think it wasn't a board.
