OldNeumanntaprNotes-
There were lots of loud, pot-smoking Deadheads that packed the Lobero Theatre to see Mickey and Planet Drum. It was pretty intense. One guy even had a really large bong a couple of rows to my right. I couldn't believe it! There was definitely some blue smoke that night! People were climbing all over the seats and going nuts. The recording is pretty good, though there is some loud obnoxious crowd noise early in the set. I think it sounds better a little bit into the recording. I was 3rd or 4th row, center right, either on the aisle or near it, with the Neumann KM-140s. I stealthed this show, not wanting to be seen by the theater staff. I remember that someone got shut down for open video taping up front. Better to be safe than sorry. There was a reception after the show but Mickey wasn’t signing anything. Fortunately, Hale Milgrim went onto Mickey’s bus and got my ticket signed for me.

Do NOT Convert To MP3.
Enjoy! Share freely, don’t sell, play nice, don’t run with scissors, etc. ;)
