Notes by Michael Zelner
Not the best sounding recording (heck, the benefit was to help pay
for a major PA system upgrade), but definitely one with historical
value, as this was Phil Lesh's first time playing in a Dead cover
band -- which led to four gigs with David Gans & The Broken Angels,
which led to the creation of Phil Lesh & Friends. Phil plays on two
songs, and the rest are played by various combinations of Bay Area
Dead cover band "all-stars" from Jerry's Kids, the Webs, the
Reptiles, the Bliss Ninnies, Buffalo Roam, and the Broken Angels. Bob
Bralove also makes an appearance on keyboard and vocals at the end of
the evening.

Hi

I just wanted to let you know that I played guitar at this show, not bass. Also I believe I sang the China Cat Sunflower, and the I Know You Rider (in spite of a few mistakes- where I came up with "headlamp" instead of "headlight" I have no idea. Never sang it that way before or since...)
