Weather Report - Tokyo, Japan 1978-06-28 FM reseed (Jazamo Tweek Version - includes 4 Samples)

Here's another great sounding show from Weather Report in a different phase of the band compared to the 1980 London show I just posted. Taken from an FM Broadcast recorded in Tokyo 1978, the show features a setlist of classic Weather Report songs. I have made some tweeks (listed below) to improve the overall listening experience. Many thanks to the original seeders, and as always your comments are most appreciated!

Jazamo Tweek Notes:
Although a great sounding show, from my point of listen it had too many fade-in on applause & fade-out on applause. Probably from commercial breaks, they detracted from overall listen. On track-1 deleted 3 seconds of intro applause, and Increased Volume (+4db) up until 1:15. Removed intro applause on track-2 and increased volume (+2db) at different parts of song. On track-4 Removed :19 intro applause and Increased volume (+1.5db). Deleted :21 intro applause on track-6. Volume for the first 3 minutes of Wayne's solo on track-7 was incredibly low (mic off?), increased volume (+15db) but hiss is prevelent, and then +2db overall. End applause of track-7 didn't match intro applause of track-8, faded out track-7 and deleted 3 seconds of intro applause on track-8. Original shn files converted to flac. Renamed files. Removed FM static on tracks-6 & 7.

Jazamo Notes:
I suspect the show is missing some songs given that the band was up to 2-2 1/2 hour sets at the time, but then again this might be all that was broadcast. This show features classic Weather Report songs combining their '75 Tour setlist with the (at the time) current Heavy Weather trackss. At the 2:45 min mark of "Scarlet Woman" Joe floods the concert hall with White Noise for 45 seconds, he's just insane! Again not one track appears on the commercially released "Live & Unreleased" CD. A compilation which cut into 3 Weather Report soundboard boots in circulation upon it's release. I have had this show and 1980 London show recorded on reel to reel, and they both compliment each other nicely.
