I think most would call Indecision a jam band, but that doesn't quite do them justice. They were based in Charlottesville, Virginia, and were active in the regional college circuit in the late 80s and 90s. I believe they still play together from time to time.
I played this tape constantly back in the day, and am amazed at how good it sounds after sitting in a closet for decades. I am not positive, but based on sound quality and almost complete absence of audience noise, this must be a soundboard recording. The only audience noise you hear sounds like bleed through the stage mikes.
I don't know the exact venue. My cassette is simply labeled "W&L Senior Party", "W&L" being Washington and Lee University, which is in Lexington, Virginia.
This is the first of (apparently) two sets. At the end of the last song, the singer says they're taking a quick break and have "another long set". I don't have the second set.
