Notes:
Extremely hot levels and less-than-stellar equipment made for a somewhat
acoustically-challenged recording.  If I remember correctly, the soundboard
had a fixed output that couldn't be turned up or down independently from the
main house PA.  Sounds ridiculous, I know, but this board might *MIGHT* have
had sixteen working channels.  Far from state-of-the-art.  Far from working.

The first set is nearly impossible to listen to, both for its sluggish playing
and the constant haze of distortion.  Most of the second set, whence these
highlights come, is much clearer.  However, it's far from perfect.  Mike Marat's
guitar is so high in the mix that your ears might start bleeding if you listen
for too long.

Allow for some variations in the mix through Shakedown Street; from the
(really pretty) jam in Playin' through the Playin' Reprise, it's a good
listen.  Truckin' and Spoonful are a little overloaded, but the Stella Blue
is a nice calm spot fefore it fades out.

In remastering this show, I was very conscious of the fact that I cut out a
great deal of music.  Nevertheless, I believe that I have preserved both the
highlights of the performance and the only listenable section.

It's pretty interesting to listen to the way the band sounded less than two years
into its existence....

A cold, lonely, dusty night in Middle-Of-Nowhere, Indiana, this was.  But fun.
And -loud-.
