25' AudioMagic Extreme silver XLR mic cable -> Grace Lunatec V2 ->
AudioMagic Scepter silver XLR signal cable -> Benchmark AD2402-96 @ 24/48 ->
AudioMagic Presto II silver S/PDIF cable -> DAARWIN-24 Laptop (VXPocket, Win2K CLEAR OS build v2.1, Sonic Foundry Vegas Video 2.0).

24-bit tracking as follows:
Used Sonic Foundry Sound Forge 5.0 for editing and fading beginning and ends of sets.
Dropped markers, converted markers to regions, and extracted regions to files.
Saved the tracked monolithic files for 16-bit CD mastering (see below).
Losslessly compressed individually tracked files using Monkeys Audio Compressor v3.96.

24/48 .APE files require 1.91GB
24/48 .WAV files require about 3GB

24/48 material archived onto 3-4 CD's or 1 DVD-R.

.APE files are playable using .APE player plugin in Winamp, or the .APE files can be decompressed into .WAV files using Monkeys Audio Compressor.
