The PE-125's were actually ran by Bill Shaw. I believe his rig was PE-125's > D7, but that was many years ago.
Don's rig at the time was AT4031's > DA-P1

Bill is correct that this tape was from Bill Shaw's rig (as are the other PE-125 tapes from this run (Austin, Compton Terrace...) which all sound nice. I remember friends that patched out of this rig talking about how such a cheap setup (PE-125's > D7) could sound so good. They were right, imo.
