Grateful Dead
6-14-68 Late Show

Fillmore East,
New York, NY

AUD>MC>R>R>PCM>CD>EAC>SHN

1.  Feedback--> (3:40)
2.  The Eleven--> (7:46)
3.  St. Stephen (6:54)
4.  //Alligator--> (3:28)
5.  Lovelight--> (10:54)
6.  Caution--> (24:28)
7.  Feedback (4:00)

total time: 61:13

Comments:
--This is a pretty good, if somewhat oversaturated audience recording for the era.   According to deadlists, it is possible songs are missing from before the Feedback->Eleven or from in between Stephen and Alligator.

Notes:
--a couple beats are cut off of the beginning of Alligator
--Sound Forge was used to fix a couple sector boundary errors, correct the pitch, and remove a an overlap (presumably from a generational cassette flip) during Caution

Part of The Music Never Stopped Project 2003

My version, with the same lineage, is 9 tracks. The only difference is that Caution is split over 3 tracks: Caution>Drums>Caution. There is also a cut in Caution at 3:10 of Track 8 in this version.

The Caution>Feedback from this tape (plus band introductions cut from this source) are now available in SBD form, listed as "Carousel 6/68", on the bonus disc released with the Complete Fillmore West 1969 Recordings.

The vault reel for this SBD fragment was apparently labelled by Dick Latvala, "6/68, likely Carousel, possibly FE."
