Encore:
16. Whipping Post
A quality recording for 1974, the Allman Brothers and a venue that held something like 70,000 people. It has the warbles, dropouts and warts you'd expect, including abrupt starts, discontinuities (e.g., the beginning of Whipping Post) and Trouble No More is a complete train wreck. But, the claimed lineage is plausible, you can hear the music clearly, and as Dickey says, "it's good to play for people who get off."
Enjoy!
