20. No One To Run With
Although this performance circulates widely on DAT, as it was simulcast on Pay Per View and the radio, most circulating SBD-feed copies have glitches, dropouts, static, etc., or a cassette or CDR generation. This recording has none of those things. The DJ/MC chatter has also been removed and the set breaks cross-faded.
There also seem to be at least two variants of the broadcast, one in which the engineer aggressively mixed in the audience at the beginning of each song, and another, like this one, where that distraction is missing. The odd thing is, in this version, the audio volume drops for a few seconds shortly after many of the songs begin, right when the crowd would be cheering most loudly. It's almost as if the feed was split and this one, which lacked the audience part, still reflects the change in relative loudness of the SBD part of the audio. Whatever the explanation, these drops have been smoothed over to make them less noticeable.
Enjoy!
