17. Pegasus
Encore 2:
18. Ramblin' Man
As of February 2025, this appears to be an uncirculated recording. The tape was damaged internally (see accompanying photo) and would not play through at first. After disassembly and adjustment, it was playable and amazingly no audio was missing. The edge of the tape corresponding to the left track at the end of Side B was slightly deformed, however, and that channel was weaker than the right channel. This has been fixed by re-balancing the channels, but there are still places where the stereo image changes, possibly as the taper turned his body or moved around. Nothing out of the ordinary for a recording like this.
The beginning of In Memory of Elizabeth Reed is missing a few seconds right as it starts, and the tape flip unfortunately came in the middle of the song. Pegasus clocks in over 25 minutes, which is nothing to sneeze at. Lee Maddex saw the show from the front row, but doesn't recall where Scott Jones taped from.
Enjoy!
