I'm not sure what's going on, but I bet it has something to do with reSHNing of seeds (EAC>SHN)...
This source: http://db.etree.org/shninfo_detail.php?shnid=17243
is the same exact source as this source:
http://db.etree.org/shninfo_detail.php?shnid=17252#comments
However, despite both having the same text, both have different MD5s...
I'm also curious if the Scott Brown source is different from the George Wang source (and he forgot to mention the V3) or if there were really 2 DPA4022 rigs at the left stack??? Could be same source, different transfer...

No, you're mistaken. These are two separate sources, they are all different sources. These are the md5s that were recieved from the taper. All the tapers ran from the stage speakers on these consecutive nights (why the tapes sound almost like dsbds), so all the mics were in almost identical positions. George was testing out different equipment (if I remeber correctly) so, on his two sources, the mics are identical, but they were run into different pre's etc. Hence, the two different sources.

actually, he was probably just trying out the mini-me, trying to see if he could hear an audible difference. Anyway, they are different tapes, not different transfers.

Thanks for clearing that up, actually I just saw that one of the sources is patched with the other. Does this mean that George ran 2 rigs this night to compare w/ mme vs w/o mme sound???
