12/28/87 - Grateful Dead
Oakland Coliseum - Oakland, Ca.
This is different from the 4/25/03 Duke/Braverman etree seed in 3 ways:
1. There is no audience patch in Stranger, Franklin's, and beginning of Minglewood. There is some serious distortion in these tracks, but I let them be for those who want the complete soundboard.
2. The low generation lineage on this is guaranteed. I SHN'd this up from the DATs made directly from the Gans Cassette Masters.
3. The encore is on the end of disc 1, so this fits on 2 x 80 min CDs.
Lineage:
Cassette Master (Gans) played back on NAK CR-7A->Pana3700 DAT (sgrmag).
Fostex D5 DAT->ZA2->SoundForge->.wav->mKw->SHN (Joe Samaritano).

Joani Walker's SBD Cassette Master also has the same distortion issues. So it's not just this one tape, it must be the feed. Good thing they fixed the problem.
