This dvd comes from the days before Hi-Fi consumer decks.
I make no excuses for the quality of sound and picture.

1. "Haight Ashbury Revisited" (24:58)
A look back at The Haight Ashbury.  Well done, with
lots of old footage.  The history is explored with
a nostalgic feel.  Some interesting perspective is
shared by folks who lived through it.  Plenty of
Grateful Dead in this...Garcia, Mickey, Bill Graham
all have things to say.  It's amusing that when the
subject of LSD comes up, the footage used is from
Frost Ampitheater in the 80's.  This is rough watch...
but well worth it!

2.  "The Sounds of San Francisco" 1982 (8:48)
I don't know where or when this aired exactly, but it
comes from the same tape.  This segment of the program is
pure Grateful Dead.  Great clips of interviews, sprinkled
in with familiar stock news film make this an interesting
one.  There are some nice crowd shots of the Oakland Auditorium
shows, and an interview in front of the Greek Theatre in
Berkeley, CA.  Again, if you can handle the poor video
quality - you'll love this!
