During the OG tape trading days, a "show" would pop up on lists as December 25, 1992. Rumors swirled around a show being on this date, but when you traded for this tape you quickly realized it was just a mix tape of songs. This is a copy of that tape with the specific performances listed.
Although digital copies of each performance used exist, the tape is converted as is with one short missing piece of Watchtower mixed in to complete that particular song. The nostalgia of the tape itself has value to the community and for those wishing to relive this particular part of DMB folklore with its original cassette tape sound.
==========
This is part of a collection of analog cassettes and DAT tapes that Greg Mendelsohn has provided and allowed us to review for sources that didn't make it into the digital age. Huge thanks to him for trusting us with his personal collection to help us provide as many live performances for fans as possible.
If you have any sources that we can help review, whether it matches extant sources or want help converting and spreading, please reach out to us at dmbalmanac@gmail.com. We are willing to take on as much of the work as we can to share this music that maybe you might be the only one in possession.
