At the very start of the opening track, you can hear what sounds like the house music (Don't Stand So Close to Me '86 Remix, possibly the entire Every Breath You Take album) playing for a few seconds before One Sweet World begins.
This performance has always been listed as being part of Drury College's homecoming and taking place at a location off campus. It's possible it happened at The Regency (now named The Complex), but that has yet to be confirmed.
The original conversion of this show had All Along the Watchtower performed after Exodus even though Dave says the band will be back after a short break following Watchtower and wishing them a good night "scream if you want some more" after Exodus. We corrected the placement of these songs. The newer source also included the Missing Ants Marching and Granny performances as well as having an overall improved sound to enjoy.
Due to tape cuts and a lack of encore in the recordings as well as an alleged Tripping Billies performance, there may be more songs to include in this show if additional recordings ever surface.
==========
This is a new source to circulation used to provide additional songs previously lost from the community. It is part of a collection of analog cassettes and DAT tapes that Greg Mendelsohn has provided and allowed us to review for sources that didn't make it into the digital age. Huge thanks to him for trusting us with his personal collection to help us provide as many live performances for fans as possible.
If you have any sources that we can help review, whether it matches extant sources or want help converting and spreading, please reach out to us at dmbalmanac@gmail.com. We are willing to take on as much of the work as we can to share this music that maybe you might be the only one in possession.
