AUD Source: Schoeps CMC3/MK4 (ORTF) > Oade mic power supply > Casio DA-7
(lead deck) > Coax SPDIF > Casio DA-7 (first deck out) > Sony DT-Dat tape.
Mics on 7-foot stand in front row of OTS.
Transfer: MAD > Sony TCD-D10P > Coax SPDIF > Audiophile 2496 > Soundforge
(at 48kHz) > CD-Wave > TLH > FLAC. Taped and transferred by Andrew F.
Notes:
- The band's sound system was not loud enough at this concert.
- Some loud feedback (Jerry's guitar) during Watchtower.
- Soundforge used to make fades.
- TLH used for FLAC compression, and making checksums.
Audio Patches:
1) Between Black Throated Wind and Ramble On Rose, 1 minute and 16.982 seconds added to SBD1 soundtrack from AUD1 in order to match the video.
2) Between Ramble On Rose and Let It Grow, 51.448 seconds added to SBD1 soundtrack from AUD1 in order to match the video. This includes some of the lead in notes to Let It Grow.
3) About 2 minutes into Drums. 8 minute and 46.682 seconds were added to SBD1 soundtrack from AUD1 in order to match the video.
4) I used the video soundtrack as the timing reference and while the SBD1 was very fast averaging about 2.1 seconds a minute faster than the video, the AUD2 matched the video almost exactly.
5) As video came in 48k 16 bit, I used the 48k 24 bit Andrew F. recording and upped the bitrate of the soundboard using rBrain so that it matched the video and audience to mix the matrix for the video.
Video Patches:
None - great camera work
