Notes
The recording is from the Tommy Stevenson collection. Special thanks to his son, Thomas, for locating the surviving masters and loaning them out for transfer. 25 years earlier, a mutual friend, Ben Windham, loaned me the master of the last half of the show but at that time apparently didn't find the first part. The second tape likely no longer exists.
Tape flip at 4:54 of Renegade.
This recording was split over two 90-minute cassettes, numbered #9/80 and #10/80. The first tape also included the opening set by the Neville Brothers. The second tape also included the performance by headliner Fats Domino.
Alvin Robinson, guitar
David Barard, bass
Herman "The German" Ernest, drums
Amadee Castenell, tenor sax
Humphrey Davis, tenor sax
Frank Parker, trumpet
Charlie Miller, trumpet
Afro Blue, percussion
Tami Lynn, vocals
Sharon Nabonne, vocals
Leo Nocentelli, guitar (Right Place Wrong Time and Junco Partner)
