Tapers Notes:
Taped about 30ft from the stage and in a good central position. I was very pleased with
the people around me, they respected and appreciated the music and although there were
some tall people in front of me, they didn't obstruct my view (thanks!).For the first time
since I started taping, I decided to record in PCM mode (which meant a disc-change!). It
was quite a challenge but I managed to pull it off quite well with the whole show intact.
The disc change occured at the encore, so there is about 2 mins of missing 'crowd applause'
but I did a nice crossfade effect in Adobe Auditon to join the parts nicely.

Recording level was set at 24/30 (going 'Line-In') and I used a custom-made battery box
with 69hz bass roll-off Setting. I have noticed that in the quiter parts of the recording
there is some crackling noises in the background. I'm not sure what this was caused by, but
at least to my ears its not too distracting at all.
Sound on the night was really great. I did have my earplugs in but it still sounded really
good from my position.

The recording came out really nice in my opinion. It was a little bassy but that probably
had something to do with my position and the fact that there were taller people in front
blocking the mics a little (mics could have been positioned higher too). I should have used
a higher roll-off setting and that would have countered it. Anyway, I managed to cut some of
the bass in post-production and thats all I have done to the recording (aswell as normalizing).
Sound is nice, powerful and sounds like you're right there, it brings back great memories
from a brilliant gig.

Remember, play it loud and ENJOY!!

Other Notes:
I thought Amplifier were quite good (although the sound wasn't that good). PT played a brilliant
set and they were supurb. It was quite a flawless performace apart from SW making a small
mistake in 'Lightbulb Sun' to which he shouted ''Oh Fuck!''. I was so glad they pulled
out 'Sever' (one of my faves from Signify). The new album works extremely well live.
Overall, a blinding performance and a gig to remember for many years to come. I surely hope
they come back in the winter like they did for the 'Deadwing' tour. I'll be there in an instant!

Just so you know, I didn't tape Amplifier.
