Notes
The recording is from the Tommy Stevenson collection. Special thanks to his son, Thomas, for locating the surviving masters and loaning them out for transfer. Transferred by Richard Russell, April 2026.

This recording was at the end of a tape that also included a performance by another artist at Tipitina's the previous night. It's likely the recording of Dr. John's performance continued on a second tape, labeled #14 of 1990, but as of June 2026 that master has not been found and likely no longer exists.

The two performances on this tape were misdated by one day. Media listings verify that Dr. John performed on May 2 (not May 3 as the tape says).

No EQ or noise reduction was applied to this recording.
