Pitch is slow during much of show
Date: 01/01/2004
Is there a speed correction in the works?

User:
isn?t this questionable to circulate, as it is
released as a DP? Official releases are as far as
i know not tradable, except for outtakes and AUDs.??

User:
also, what?s the point with the filler from the
Warfield run? a bit confusing circulating a SHN-set
like this, imo. anyone agree/disagree?

The only thing that is not OK to circulate is the same source as the DP. I don't have this one, but I'm going to venture a guess that DP is not sourced from a second rate, out-of-pitch, 3rd/5th gen reel/cassette. Therefore, this source is OK to trade. A greater point would be, why bother correcting this source when you can go buy the best possible source on the DP release?

Any read on "Cousinit" sources in general?

Actually, JB's comment is no longer accurate -- GDP's latest pronouncement on this matter is:

"No, soundboards are not okay to trade after the show has been officially released. Technically, audience taping was the only thing the band ever authorized, not soundboards. Audience tapes of the same show are okay to trade."

Darrin,

Thanks for the clarification. I was unaware of the change. I guess that makes the final answer here "No, no pitch correction is in the works. You must buy DP for the SBD." No skin off my teeth. I'll shell out for the official releases every time if it means that more are forthcoming.

Well then It Must Have Been the Roses & Sunrise should be ok to trade- seeing as they were ommitted from DP10.
