* Soundcheck has "and my dear Marley" lyrics in Sweet Adeline. Funky Bitch has some really strange lyrics...I mean really strange.....
**Mastering Notes**
This show has many technical difficulties to begin with. I did my best to soften these harsh cuts with some softer crossfades when at all possible. Because of the rain at the gig, there are many sound problems...and probably why there are so many cuts on the tape. The show contains small digizaps and some weird mixing at the start. It evens out, and I only went after the real loud zaps (assuming that it's the water messing with the equipment)....Also, towards the end of the set the volume jumps up suddenly and creates a whole mess of distortion. I lowered the volume of the set from SOAM onward, but the distortion is still there and nothing can be done about it. I tried as best as I could to soften the distortion without causing "too much" damage to the wanted material.

the cuts in this one make it a fileset that the casual listener may not want to seek out. it sounds good, but the cuts are pretty severe. the jam in reba is totally cut, as is the jam in mikes. If you are the completist and would like a copy feel free to contact me allen at guyforget dot net

While there are obvious problems with this fileset the soundcheck is absolutely hilarious, it's worth the price of admission.

The one thing I'd like to see is the master db file updated to reflect the actual venue information. This was not at The Front....

As part of the Old School Phish Project, I have been scanning the tape covers, ticket stubs (if I have them) and the "Phish Update" newsletters (if I have them).
If you are interested, you can find them here:
http://guyforget.net/phishteam/oldschool_extras/
Each show has it's own folder. All the shows released so far are out there.
I've also included the MD5s and TXT files.
If you distribute these SHNs, please include these extras.
You can visit this forum for comments made during the transfer/mastering/listening process:
