From several listenings of d3, I'd have to say this is a swell recording. On par for most MMW recordings.
Trey is nicely situated in the mix, as are all the instruments.

The flaws are not too noticeable, but they're certainly there. Other than that though, quite a crisp sounding show. I personally fit this show on two discs by placing the encore on d1 and using an 80 for d2 (remove the crowd noise at the end of Chubb Sub)

Oops. I meant I used an 80 for disc one if you move the encore immediately after the first set. This keeps the continuity of both sets, which is very nice. That break between discs two and three is too harsh IMO.

This tracklist is slightly flawed. Disk two begins with Third Stone From The Sun and goes into Big Time, not the other way around. Disk three is also slightly off, it shoule be:
1. Partido Alto
2. We Are Rolling>
3. Start/Stop>
4. Dracula
5. Chubb Sub
6. Swamp Road
7. is something else, but i don't know what.

Actually, the comment above about the setlist is incorrect. Track 1 on disc 2 is DEFINITELY Big Time, and track 2 on disc 2 is DEFINITELY Third Stone. Furthermore, tracks 1 and 2 on disc three should be merged together as Partido Alto, since track 2 is just a jam based around Partido. And I'm not sure what the last comment about track 7 means, but the Encore is DEFINITELY Swamp Road, without a doubt on all three of your comments. Please do a little more research (or be listening to the right show!) before posting errata in the future.

Thanks guys, I added sets of ellipses to the info file here to clarify the tracking.

FWIW, with drag and drop in some burning programs (eg CDRWin) it's possible to burn tracks out of order if you don't doublecheck beforehand.

Flaws, in particular: Very subtle, infrequent crackling throughout. d1t5 08:28 -> 08:32, mic (over drumkit?) in left channel drops out, likely a problem with the sound system, not the recording.

The crackles that Jeff reports are not from the recording but actaully from the sound system at the show! I was there and remember hearing some crackles coming out of the speakers on the left side of the stage. OTHERWISE AN INCREDIBLE RECORDING WITH PERFECT OVERALL SOUND! You cant get much better than this. Tom Reizes is the man all of his recordings are always stellar!
