Show Notes (thanks to fivehorizons):
Ed jokes, "There is a fake in Florida, but this is the real Jeff Ament. If someone comes up to you and says he is Jeff Ament and wants to take your pot or wants to take you to a stripclub, it is probably not him."
In a very rare third encore, 'Throw Your Arms Around Me' is introduced as follows: "See, we live in a place where it ain't so sunny. Have you ever been in Seattle? It's just ... this song has a lot to do with summer and I just want to play it here cause it always feels like summer here."
This is a wonderful show!

I have the great pleasure of being the one to record this show !
I wish I did not trade it to a certain person pack in 94 along with a few other shows that were widely bootlegged ! My STP, Nirvana
& A few others made it out on Bootlegs.
Now for a CORRECTION....it was Bayfront Arena. It is a small indoor arena NOT an Amphitheater.
This show was taped on a whim. I saw PJ the night before in Miami (Great DAT Too !) and was so blown away I jumped in the car the next day & drove 4 hours to St.Pete.
The place was SOLD OUT !! But as luck would have it while I was haggling with a scalper for a back of the arena ticket for 100.00
some guy told me the ticket window opened & they released some seats ! I rushed to the window & bought my ticket at PJ price !!.
It was 5th row side stage (Stones) & in front of a sweet stack
of PA's !
But it almost did not happen ! It was my first show with metal detector wands & I was scared shitless. Security was WAY high as the night before in Miami a riot ensued when 20,000 people showed up for a 10,000 seat AMPHITHEATER.!
Well, I was about to put the rig in the car & enjoy the show when I thoght of a "scam" if you will. I saw some pay phones near the entrance and I walked to the front of the line of hundreds of people & asked the guy if I could make a call that it was an emergency, I showed him my ticket & told him I was not trying to sneak in, so he waved me by & to the phone and in I went.
So on a whim & by luck I got the show !
I of course found out later my DAT deck would not set off the wands but I did not know that THEN !
After the show I had to drive straight home as Pink Floyd were kicking off their last ever world tour in Miami !! It was a GREAT WEEK !
I may grab this myself as it has been DEQ 'ed ! The bootleg was
EQ'ed as well but I did not like their version.
Cheers,
Datfly
