Hissy.

Yes, I am aware of how hiss is created. This sounds like there was a decoding problem somewhere, what with both Dolby B and C being in the lineage. It doesn't sound bad, just not like what the lineage suggests. I've heard other shows with similar lineages with almost no hiss (all analog sources will have some, I think) Thanks to Joe, nonetheless.

Once the volume hits 4,4 1/2,over 50% of everything here on etree shows its hiss.Auds hide it much better.I had a dolby inserted between my ears and brain awhile back. Its a beautifull thing!

I'm like sport, I don't hear hiss once it gets rolling. I guess we're wired a little differently :-)Don't be scared off by the first comment folks, this is pretty good.

The cassettes were not dolby decoded which is why they don't sound right, plus these are off pitch. I just did a 24bit transfer of the same tapes and they were dolby decoded and pitch corrected too, they sound killer.

Yes - I just straight transferred this without decoding the dolby or fixing the pitch. This definitely needs to be re-done correctly and I'm glad CM is the man doing it. Can't wait, this is one of my faves!
