Just curious, but does anyone who has this source think it is "slow"?? Alot of the songs sound detuned and even Billy's voice sounds a tad deeper! Or maybe it's just my burn?

Just a thought (i haven't heard this seed), but maybe the files were 48kHz instead of the CD standard 44.1kHz? It's hard to tell if that conversion was made in the lineage. But since they were put to CD and EAC'd prior to creation of the FLACs that would be more difficult to figure out (and fix?)...

I thought of that too, but can't figure out how the transfer was done...

But I think its a 48k WAV that has had its header info changed to read 44.1k - therefore the "ether" quality of the sound...

I just noticed, the comments about this show. My budy recorded and seeded this show. This venue is really a tricky room to record in.

Filled in setlist above.

There is nothing wrong with the recording in terms of what the venue may have affected; it really sounds like a nice pull. However, the pitch/speed is way off. Listen to Billy's voice at the end of Set I and you'll know something is definitely not right, and the show overall has this same problem. Listen to one of these tunes and then listen to another show's version of the same tune. I do not know enough about this stuff, but it seems to me that what's been said about this not being properly transferred and sampled to 44.1 would have something to do with it.

John, if you read this, ask your buddy to get a hold of me and we can take care of doing a clean transfer from his DAT so we can circulate a decent version of this show.

This fileset really should not circulate anymore than it already has.

Minor maintenance to setlist (updates, segues, typos, track times, etc.)
