This version of this show sounds awful. Very tinny. There is no Mike in the mix, and virtually no Page. Listening to this recording is a travesty: this awesome Mike's song is ruined (check out about three minutes into the jam when Mike and Page are going off and Trey is not playing, you can't hear anything!) Get a different source for what is otherwise a great show.

I agree that this source is not the best but there is nothing better out there.

(2/12/02)Well, I still think it sounds pretty good and is the best thing out there(that I could find). Oh wait, I just learned it will be Phish's 12th Live release...never mind! BTW, since this was the best copy I've heard, couldn't the problems exist on every recording due to equip. problems, PA, etc. Yes, the bass may be a little week, but I can hear Trey just fine at 3:15 into Mike's. Miller, I just don't think Trey was playing at the 3 min. mark...that's why you couldn't hear him. Oh ya, the only reason I laid the show out for 2 80's is so that disc 2 makes it all the way through the acapella section. You certainly can move it around with no problems. Oh well, dosen't matter now...being my 5th show and a great one at that...I'm getting the board.

I have a DAT master of this same exact source and sound quality as the 8/12 I seeded. I thought I gave it to Matt (Shakedown) for the Furthur 1996 project but I don't see a text file.
