Notes:
A BIG 'Thank You' goes out to our fellow Bruce fan/taper, Marcus T., who was kind enough to loan me his master dats of this show so we could spread the wealth.  Marcus was able to make his way across the border from his Canadian side to catch this stupendous show outside of Buffalo.  I remember when I posted the 9/3/95 show some time ago and stated that "that was the best Hornsby show IMO", Marcus spoke up and said this one was better, and now, I'm not so sure I disagree with him...this show is rip-roarin' hot!!!  The question of which one is better is certainly open for debate, but the point I'm making here is that this gig is a no-brainer download.  This one has all those elements I (we?) look for in a Bruce show...tight band, diverse setlist, lots of improv, plenty of GD references and a version of Valley Road that will kick your teeth in...all wrapped into a real sharp DSBD.  Another noteworthy song (for me anyway) is the all-too-rare full-band 'Country Doctor'.  Bruce also tells a short story about Garcia right before 'Across The River' that really hits home.  Hope everyone enjoys it.  Once again, Thanks a bunch to Marcus T. for his efforts on the master!!!
Tim
