(1) Phil introduces Keith before Playing In The Band
(2) Looney Tunes Tuning before Sugar Magnolia

Seed Notes:
Good early Dead.  Features Jerry and a heckler getting into it over the song
Truckin'.  Also features good Bobby banter.

As with most older recordings, this has it's own minor occasional blemishes.
The recording is almost 30 years old ;-).  Unfortunately the encore is missing,
but I have not seen this show widely circulating so I decided to seed it.

Enjoy!

Thanks. Questions re: provenance:

The Pioneer RT-707 was released in 1977, so this is a recording of a rebroadcast or something else. What was the source of the rebroadcast? Cassette? R2R? Speed? 30/15/7.5/3.75? Was the source Pre-FM, or recorded over the FM airwaves? I'm guessing this was recorded over the airwaves.

The RT-707 had 2 speeds, 3.75 IPS and 7.5 IPS. 7.5IPS would mean tape flips every 30 min. There's no such thing as 19IPS. The archivist must be confusing 19 IPS with 19 CMPS - 19CM=7.48IPS.

Other than that, I love these 1971 Broadcasts. Thanks!
