What a show! The band was on fire - even the Ryan Adams songs rocked. A hot Tennessee Jed, a blistering Cumberland, and a Sugaree pushed the first set past 80 minutes and got the tapers flipping disks and DAT's like crazy during the jam between Trains reprise and Sugaree. The second set really got going after the opening RA tune and turned into a furious romp in and out of Viola and Playin. Throw in a rockin' GDTRFB, a funky version of Loose Lucy, a white hot version of Golden Road and you've got a theater full of very, very happy and tired heads walking out into the cool night air at 12:30AM.
Rob Barraco -keys, Joan Osborne - vocals, and Phil are veterans from 'The Dead' tour. Barry Sless (Dave Nelson Band) and Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan). Jeff Sipe (Jazz Is Dead)
