Listener John Wilson reports "a cut at the
start of Might As Well around 2 seconds into the track... The song starts,
and then the vocals cut in suddenly." He adds that it's "something that sounds
like and would fall around the same time as a tape flip."

D1T9: //Might As Well is cut at front as previously mentioned.

D2T3, T4, T5, T7, T8, T9, T10: All have Track ID errors(light ticks/noises at boundary). Track 5 is louder(snap). None are that bothersome but a new transfer would seem logical, especially since Shakedown needs to be part of the rest of Disc 2, requiring a 3 disc divide.

or more simply - put Walkin the Dog on the end of CD-1 and Shakedown where it belongs on the beginning of CD-2. Thats how I did it ..... 2 80 min. CD-R's.

That sounds logical but how does the transition sound when putting Shakedown & Crazy Fingers together since the DAT wasn't cut that way? Also, with all the Track ID errors, it's still in need of a new DAT transfer.

I wanted to rejoin Shakedown and Crazy Fingers too, but three things give me pause. 1)There's a slight pitch difference between the first notes of Crazy Fingers at the end of d1t10 and the beginning of d2t01, 2)d2t01's waveform is inverted and 3)the volume levels for said notes are different on each track. 2 and 3 aren't too hard to fix, but I've learned to fear pitch problems. And how does an all digi lineage end up with them, anyway?
