Was planning on borrowing a friend's D7.  The DAT wasn't working during
DDTW,
so after the song I switched to the MD's.  I know it sucks, but I was
the only
one FOB above head-heigth.  JTR makes a better opener anyway ;)  The
wind was pretty strong
all night.  It got quite a bit stronger around Space Between.  I used 2
windscreens to
help reduce the wind noise.  You can still hear the wind some.

Just an heads up to everyone downloading this show. These shns were suppossedly yanked from servers in order for a new patched version to be done up, however they are evidently still on a few. The opener "DDTW" is missing from these shns, however was patched into this source from a "s"FOB AKG source. Those mics were worn on head. So it would be best to wait for those to make thier way to servers.

Just my opinion, but this source sounds like ASS. The dynamic range is crushed, weird phase problems....arrgh!
Where is the high range? I can barely hear the cymbals...

The other source makes this look like something a child put together.

if you don't like it...buy the gear and tape it yourself.

and yes, there is a source w/ ddtw patched.

I chose to comment on the show because I felt it was prudent to warn people about what I felt was an inferior source that has been seeded. That is what this forum "comments" was designed for for right? Just because you got it up first, doesn't mean it's the best. Like I said before, it doesn't seem to be ETREE quality. I highly reccomend getting the FOB AKG source, as it doesn't have the weird phase problems and crushed dynamic range. I have listened to 6 different sources for this show:
AT 853...this source
Schoeps 4v>VMS>modSBM1
MBHO 603/500>MP2>ADC20
Geffel 200's >v2>DA-P1
AKG ck91's
and
KM 150's>Apogee

and the AKG and 4v sources are the best. I have not converted my 4v masters yet, as I think the AKG source sounds cleaner....less muddy bass.
Just my opinion though....
