This is definitely FM. The first clue is that it is not a straight board, but a matrix, and an audience-heavy matrix at that. In fact, it almost sounds like there is a track of random NYE noisemakers mixed in between songs. The second clue is the FM compression from the start. The third clue is the announcers (including Father Guido Sarducci) that talk over the beginning of Jack Straw. The real kicker is when the radio goes out of tune near the end of Bird Song.
This is a seed begging for an upgrade. Can someone comment on the Bruce Fried seed? Is it the same source? Maybe at least without the radio going out of tune during songs?

Can anyone shed light as to the above question?

The copy I have of this is from an F.M. source. A friend of mine taped it himself. It does have Father Guido Sarducci on it. Unfortunately my friend made a beer run during this and one of the tapes ran out.
