=======================================

For Team Friendly by TheTiger, 5/14/03.

Tracked for 74 minute CDRs. Using 80s doesn't make a difference.

Flaws: none noted.

Notes:
LPD: A superb LPD set, one of the finest. Great crowd banter throughout. t8 - Before is the only slow point; a new song that never appeared again, and then again some people love this tune. Screen stops when a young woman down front briefly passes out.

Jambay: Again, one of the best. It Don't Bother Me and Mercury are two of their most intense jam songs in weird time signatures. Islands and Coming To are infrequently played psychedelic gems.

I wish I knew the name of the instrumental after Dancin' Shoes; it's great, and the transition to Never Thought is wonderfully smooth. Never Thought, as always, has mostly improvised lyrics. How Did This Happen? is a hilariously weird trip-out song, played all too rarely but usually at appropriate times.

I've never seen a crwod flip out quite the same way they would when Rosie was played. What other (non-punk) band would do everything in their power to get the audience to yell "fuck you" directly at the band at the top of their lungs?
