Notes:

Matt, who's equipment it was and who did the conversion had this
to say:

"It was recorded using a Nomad II MG.  It was recorded in NVF which is
Creative's proprietary file
format for voice files.  The audio format for NVF files is G.721 8kHz
mono 32kbit/sec.  I have software from Creative that automatically
converts the NVF files to WAV (should preserve everything about the audio
stream)."

I took the raw .wav files he made and i worked with them in soundforge,
cleaned them up a bit, put them in stereo, fade in/out, raise the volume,
and cut them up into tracks and made .shn's from these master .wav's.

The sound is still not that great, but any recording is better then no recording.
There is a second source of this show. A cassette exists and it is being worked on
to be converted.
