Notes:
As far as I know this is the only soundboard that exists of the Fishman/DSO show. D3 was running tapes that night and recorded the whole show in a decent audience DAT which circulates here and there. I remember there was a shortage of DAT tapes so he didn't start this soundboard tape until Fishman started playing. Therefore we have only a partial show to offer but what there is seems pretty worth archiving.
The band was playing their regular Tuesday night show at Martyrs' in Chicago the day after Phish had played the Rosemont Horizon. Fishman and Gordon showed up somewhere toward the beginning of set two. Fishman jumped onstage at the beginning of Eyes and D3 started the SBD DAT.
The beginning of d1t01 had to be normalized because the source to the DAT was being adjusted for the first half a minute. Also, a few one-side dropouts were fixed in the first minute or two. This is the only editing done.
