Sally Timms, vocals and shruti box (on "Little Tommy Tucker"). Backed by Johnny Dowd's band: Justin Asher (guitar, accordion, various synths), Mike Stark (keyboards), and Will B (drums and bass pedal). Johnny himself joins in on "Worried Mind."
One of two New York-area stops on Sally and Johnny's U.S. tour to promote her "In The World of Him" and his "Cemetery Shoes." A weird venue for them, a hoity-toity little bar attached to the Public Theater - at one point during his set, Johnny remarked, "It's nice to be playing here in a place that I know I wouldn't be allowed into otherwise." The crowd loved it, though.
I recorded Johnny's set as well, but am still (as of this writing) awaiting permission to upload it to archive.org.
