Show Notes:  Solo show; recorded from the right side with mic and recorder on a ledge about five feet from the floor.

2002 was a fairly inactive touring year as far as David goes - aside from a few shows here and there and a UK tour early in the year, shows were few and far between.  I caught two of the three scheduled for June (the first was in Nashville) and managed to get recordings of both.

The setlists for both shows were incredible, and David mentioned to me at the time that it was a result of an interview where I asked him what he had against "Apart From You" and "Make The Most Of".  Between the two shows, at least half the set was different each night.  Not only did he play those two but some other tracks that were not often performed.

Tonight's highlights - David mistakes "Comfort" for "Songbird" - a joke that will come into play later; an unexpected "She, Luisa"; the first known recorded live version of Simon and Garfunkel's "The Only Living Boy In New York"; an incredibly amusing string breaking moment; the still-unreleased "Cuba"; the only known recorded live version (to date) of "Make The Most Of" (wow); and an interesting blend of "While The World Is Sleeping" and the Simpsons Theme.  David is incredibly talkative mood tonight.

There's an occasional thump on-mic, this is the sound of the person behind me putting their drink down.

Soundwise, I left the EQ alone; only performed a bit of hard limiting in CoolEdit due to low levels.

IMPORTANT NOTE - "Cuba" has been omitted from this upload at David's request. The show can be uploaded in its complete form once this track is released. Until then, I've left the chatter that preceded it as a placeholder (track 11).

Digital transfer - November 2005.
