Flaws:
Much inter-song dead air cut from set I
First one or two seconds of FOTD and El Paso cut
fade out and fade in during drums, affects a few seconds
tape flip between drums and space, missing a few seconds
(This was an unusually short space. It dives almost immediately into The Wheel, which is unusually long for the time.)
There are parts of the second set where the tape shows some slight degradation, but I don't think this distracts from the overall enjoyment of this ultra-high energy show. Here's hoping this teases the soundboard out of hiding. Lord knows I'd like to hear a Matrix!

Thanks to Stephen B. Porter, wherever he is these days, for the terrific recording. Seeded by Peter Braverman, January 2002.

This .nfo file notes that The Wheel is unusually long for this period. Ahh, for this there is a reason. Bobby broke a string just after Jerry started picking The Wheel. Committed to the tune, Jerry chose to noodle around with The Wheel (rather than duck back into space) whilst Bob re-strung. (It was, though, an unusually long re-stringing for that or any era!).

e. (who notes that he may just as easily have been seeing things).
