NOTES:

I'm torrenting this bootleg three days shy of the 9th anniversary of it's recording.
In my opinion, this is one of the best TTH bootlegs I have ever come across, audience-sourced
or soundboard, simply for the quality of the recording and the band's spot-on performance.
According to Mark's Bootleg Database it was recorded with Sony D7 DAT deck and OKM-II mics.

When people are asked about their top five bootlegs, this one is rarely if ever mentioned, but
it will always be on my top five list. This is the first of a two-night stand at The Tivoli.
Gord's rants are very audible and easy to decipher, which makes the show that much better.
Vapour Trails, Membership & Save The Planet from 1998's Phantom Power are played, as well
as the fastest version of Little Bones you've ever heard (so Gord says). Gord's beloved
chambermaid from Utrecht is constantly mentioned throughout the show.

From Mariah Carey's 'fool for love' (Grace,Too) to Jacques Villeneuve being in love (Blow At
High Dough) to Gord letting down Satan (Put It Off) to Timmy O'Tool stuck in a well (Locked In
The Trunk Of A Car), I can safely say this is a must-have bootleg for any Hip fan. I still listen
to it to this day and never tire of it.

This torrent is for Brewse Trudel from Utrecht : he once contacted me about getting a copy
of this bootleg but we lost touch and I was never able to get it to him. When you listen to
The Luxury, Gord comments about someone wanting him to endorse a cheque for his college
tuition. Brewse was in attendance at this gig and actually approached Gord to get an autograph
before they started in on The Luxury. I don't know if he actually got the auto, but when Brewse
asked, Gord laughed a bit and told the crowd "someone wants me to endorse a cheque for his
college tuition". Priceless Gord.

The EAC extraction and FLAC encode logs are included.

I edited the entire show in the following ways:
--> slightly alterted treble frequencies higher and slightly lowered bass frequencies
--> normalized all tracks from -2 db & -.100% dc offset to -0.5 dB (no clipping) & 0% dc offset

By bringing the treble up a bit and lowering the bass, Gord's rants are much clearer and the band
sounds more complete (to my ears anyways). Comments are always welcome and should be
posted in the comment section below.
