Sam Bush is a monster in the newgrass world, so not much to say here. I will say I've caught Sam enough times to know his spiel inside and out and it's refreshing to hear him with a more bluegrass-focused lineup as opposed to the very rock-oriented regular band. Apparently, RockyGrass is the only venue in which Sam plays with this more bluegrassy lineup. An energetic performance, quality recording, and a whole slew of guests for the three encore tracks. Well worth the download if you ask me. :)

NOTES:
To seamlessly join the two discs, simply remove D1T15 and D2T01.
Clamped to NashPhil's stand just left of center. Same as Friday: rain, rain, rain, on and off through the whole day - and mostly ON. Hmph! Most of the recordings still sound pretty darn good, IMO. During quiet sections you can hear the lovely St. Vrain burbling off in the distance to the right of the stage and viewing area. First time using the MK21 sub-cards outdoors, and I love the broad, deep soundstage and the open, natural sound the MK21s bring to the recording. Enjoy!
