This is a great show which sounds very nice, except for the fact the the channels switch throughout the recording. I understand that Betty mixed her recordings separately, so this must be either her switching the channels or Healy doing it further up the chain from the board. Anyway, the end result is that Jerry and billy's drums migrate from right to left and back again along with Billy's drums. Not a big deal, but kinda strange.

referring to cale miller's comment, i think this channel switching phenomenon would be due to a very flawed dat>cdr transfer ! ! ! it does not have anything to do with healy's or betty's outstanding work. thanks for the comment cale, I'll stay away from this seed

do any copies exist of this show that don't have the channel switching? this is probably my fav Dead show and the sound is excellent, if not for the channel switching.

Disc two has eight tracks, not the nine listed in the text file. Disc three has seven tracks, not the six listed in the text file. This is because Samson is actually on disc three, and not disc two. For those of you keeping score at home, the real tracking for discs two and three is:
Disc 2
d2t01 Musta been the Roses
d2t02 Lazy Lightning -> Supplication
d2t03 B.E. Women
d2t04 Promised Land

Wow, I made this transfer a long time ago! Regarding the channel switching phenomenon... I checked, and it occurs on my original DAT and is not due to the transfer. This was one of my first transfers, actually I think the first. My original transfer also had SBEs due to use of Sound Forge to make the track splits, but the version that got posted to gdlive was corrected. Sorry about the track listing mistake :-)
