This source is unlistenable as far as I'm concerned... lots of hiss, muddy sounding overall, very low bass. Too bad because it looks like a great set as well.

Sorry to hear that, this is a great show, and a nice master of it. You might try 16878, it sounds a bit better

I have to agree with Jack here. AFAIK this is the first Garcia show that Jerry Moore taped, and I consider it a very nice job of taping. I'd add that it's historically crucial -- the only digitally circulating Garcia/Saunders show between the July '73 Keystone shows and early '74, by which time they had added the horn player (Martin Fierro). And I think it's a very nice show, with "One Kind Favor" one of my favorite versions of any Garcia tune, period!

YMMV, of course.

I agree with Jack & Joe. There are many AUDs that sounds considerably poorer than this one, even though Jerry?s recordings improved later on. I wouldn?t call this unlistenable at all. Imo, it?s quite OK. Definitely recommended, but of course, to each his own.
