The Disco Biscuits are happy to release a soundboard of the second set from the February 4th show at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver as a sign of fan appreciation. Without you guys, there would only be half a show every night. When you guys bring the energy and vibe, the band brings the heat! So, as a gesture of thanks, we're giving you this free nugget from the 6th show with new drummer, Allen Aucoin. Starting off with a great Sweating Bullets with some interesting work by Aron Magner on keys, the set then glides nicely into Shem-Rah Boo, which is becoming a constant Aucoin highlight. The Nughuffer sequence showcases an all out trance throw down with the introduction of the new tune, The Great Abyss. This set also presents the glorious return of Crystal Ball. Capped off with a huge encore, of the long anticipated return of Aquatic Ape and Mr. Don, this set shows exactly where the band is going...full-steam ahead to Awesome City!
The Disco Biscuits have recently acquired new cutting edge twenty four bit multi-track hard disc recorders which will allow the band to consistently improve the quality of each released show. These recorders allow us to capture the ambience of the venue, while still maintaining the clarity of the soundboard. Furthermore, these recent additions will dramatically improve the speed at which we are able to provide you, the fans, the most recent performances.
If you are looking for more of these fine recordings, please check out The Disco Biscuits Download Center at http://www.discobiscuits.com. Click on the 'downloads' link at the top right of the page and you will be routed to a selection of over 120 shows spanning a seven year period. Most notable are the recent New Years Run shows from December 2005. These were Allens first shows and also our first using this new recording equipment. You can hear just how full and crisp the new recordings sound. You can also find these recordings by going directly to www.DiscLogic.com and searching for The Disco Biscuits. Thanks for checking out the new shows. We're just as excited as you guys are for the future!

It's 2006....Setbreak is over!

See you on tour,
Jon Goldberg & John Schmidt
