New Bohemians
Gypsy Tea Room
Deep Ellum, Dallas, TX
February 12, 2000
NOTE: I'm not sure this is the correct source for this show. The same setup was
used at the 10/23/99 show at the same venue. My copies were clones given to me
by Patrick Pluscht. His copies were from Stan Smith, who recorded this show. I'm not sure if Stan used a
R-300 or a R-500 in the DAT > CD transfer (I think the R-300 is the band's deck,
and Stan has a R-500 that he uses for transfers). What I DO know is that it is
a matrix mix.
Source: 40% Microtech Gefell 200/M20 (ORTF) > Lunatec V2, 60% Spirit48/8
SBD L & R from Matrix A & B (through Symetrix 606 2 ch delay for time
alignment) (L = 18mS / R = 15 mS) > Mackie 1604 VLZ > Sony R-300 > DAT
DAT > CD transfer: DAT > Sony PCM R-500 > HHb 850, by Stan Smith
CD to SHN: Matshita CR-8005A > Track Thief @ 1x, reliable buffering > AIFF >
SoundApp > WAV > SHN, by Mark Domyancich (harpua@revealed.net)
So, in a wrap: SBD/AUD matrix mix > DAT > CD > CD > AIFF > WAV > SHN
The New Bohemians are today... Edie Brickell (rhythm guitar, lead vocals)
Kenny Withrow (lead guitar)
Brandon Aly (drums)
John Bush (percussion)
Brad Houser (bass)
Carter Albrecht (keyboards)
No known flaws.
