Dan Tepper - Sound

This place was in Piscataway NJ, just across the Rartian River
from New Brunswick (their home base). It was a place that had been
re-done and it had sort of a techno feel with a lot of metal
and chrome (sort of like a space station). I think I only saw them
here this one time. Kind of a wierd place to see them play.

This has one of the best mixes I've heard from Dan. There is a
nice wide stereo field, with all the instruments in a nice balance.
Jason also provides some great work on the keyboards. I remember that
Kenny's Brother Chester had a small rack mount cabinet with a compression
unit and his DAT recorder. I took my feed from him (after the compression).
I'm not sure what the unit was, but I think it helped produce a nice
tight sound without being too squashed.
